This shot is like a movie. Like a great old movie about a sport that I’m not interested in, but with a story and spirit that grab at my heart. I can’t turn it off. What composition!

The photo is eye catching and engaging. It looks like the human spirit is caught up up between a life and death struggle.

Jacqueline, have you ever seen work by John Goodman? I think you would like it. This image is very romantic, a great contrast to the reality of the situation.
